As a celebrity, being in the public eye can be a great thing, or it can turn into a nightmare. Gary Allan reveals he is still dealing with his alleged stalker, Katherine Walker, in the court system, and he doesn't mind talking about how the bad experience affected him.
Gary is definitely more cautious now when it comes to protecting his family and he improved their home security system; however, he says his fame hasn't created any other issues:
"You know, I haven't had too many problems with it. That's the only problem I've really had. I mean, I've had fans come up and knock on my door and I’m usually polite, but I'm usually very direct and say, 'it's not cool that you come here uninvited.' But I've only had one person really go off like that and make me feel threatened. And that actually started in the bars around town here. She would just come up and randomly start screaming at me [laughs] about some history that we had. It was like, 'You don't even remotely look familiar to me.' And then we ended up in court and she came to my house a couple times. You know what? I guess my cameras got better, but I've always had pretty good security at my house anyway. You come anywhere near my property, I've got you from the second that you enter on. There's little lazars actually that... my TVs come on in my room and just right on you. So there's no way to sneak up on me. And I've got a loud dog."
