The nasty bruise Brad Paisley sustained earlier this month after falling onstage during the last night of his American Saturday Night tour is healing nicely. Brad hit so hard, he thought he'd actually broken his hip, but the injury didn't turn out to be that serious. He says, "It's really a lot better...I've never had that kind of bruise. It really happened right on the bone, and it's getting smaller." Brad says there's some weird lump under his skin, which he describes in pretty graphic detail: "[It] feels like bone. It's so hard, but it moves around. It's just basically clotted blood probably. I'm sure that's good for ya."

As for the actual fall, Brad tried to position himself so he would minimize his injuries. "I knew not to land on my arm," says Brad. "I never do that." Now that it's all over, Brad jokes that some people actually got a big laugh out of his accident.  In typical fashion, he says, "Whatever it takes to entertain people, I'll do it. I'll fall the extra mile." Brad heads back out on the road on his H20 World Tour starting May 21st in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  

Brad describing the bruise almost made me throw up and now my side hurts just thinking about his bruise.  Why am I so squeemish?!?!  How I am able to watch Grey's Anatomy is beyond me...
