Taylor Swift has been spotted hanging out with Glee's Cory Monteith a few times now, so it's no wonder people are asking if the two young stars are an item. Cory put those rumors to rest during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week. When Ellen asked him point blank if he was dating Taylor, Cory said, "No, we're just friends." He did describe her as "lovely" though, and Ellen pressured him, saying they'd make a "cute couple."

Cory said it's hard for him to find time to date, and Taylor's in a similar situation. She's currently out on her Fearless tour, beginning a two-night stand in Newark, New Jersey on Wednesday.

I do feel sorry for the guy(s) Tay ends up dating, being hounded non-stop by the press would not be a fun way to start a relationship.
