Brad Paisley was on hand as NBC's Nightly News gave viewers the first look inside the flood-damaged Grand Ole Opry House Wednesday. As he walked in, Brad called it "heartbreaking" and "unbelievable" as he surveyed the Opry stage, which was stripped. The red pews are gone from the auditorium as well.

When he got inside, Paisley exclaimed, "Oh my goodness! I have never seen it like this! This is unbelievable!" Looking at the lights covered in mud, he said, "It's heartbreaking to think about this." While walking across the Opry stage surveying the damage, Brad explained, "This is what we would consider home when it comes to Opry stars as well as, just, country music singers. This is kind of our 'mother church.' It feels like we just got hit right in the heart. It's hard to believe." He continued, "Nashville as a whole handled this better than I've ever seen a city handle a devastation of this kind. I've just never been prouder to be a Nashvillian than I am right now."

Heartbreaking footage. :(
