Sugarland's Jennnifer Nettles got her first tattoo when she was still a teenager, and she's been adding to them ever since. So far, she's got the word "Believe" inked on her wrist, a heart with wings on the inside of her upper right arm, and a flower on her hip. Jennifer tells the Colorado Springs Gazette, "I use a tattoo as a marker of time, to be reminded of a time in my life. It is something special and personal."
Lady Antebellum and Taylor Swift have made their mark on the pop charts lately, and Jennifer that's a good thing. Referencing genetics and evolution as it relates to country music, Jennifer tells the Baltimore Sun, "If you continue in this incestuous, homogenous genetic pool, you're going to start to get some freaks. You've got to get out there and diversify the gene pool."
