Jake Owen was just getting back into Nashville when the flood hit earlier this month, and his part of town was an especially hard-hit area. In the weeks since the disaster, Jake has been amazed to see all of the volunteers helping out those in need.  He say, "There's a few days there where I know a lot of people took off work and just stayed home and helped people that really needed help. I think that's what I'm proud to live here."

Jake also wants to remind everyone that all systems are go for the CMA Music Festival, taking place June 10th through 13th in Nashville. "There's gonna be some things that are a little different this year because of everything that happened," Jake says, "but everyone's come together." Jake is also planning to host his first official fan club party this year, and it's already sold out.
