Jennifer Love Hewitt is proud of her big boobs. "They've always served me well," she recently told Maxim.
And yet, in a sexy Entertainment Weekly ad for her new Lifetime series The Client List, the 33-year-old actress' breasts were noticeably smaller. (Hewitt is normally a 36-C cup size.)
"Somebody sent me a copy of the photograph, and I was like, 'Um, what happened?'" Hewitt said during a radio interview with KROQ 106.7 Friday. "I'm not quite sure what’s going on, but apparently somebody wanted me to have a boob reduction."
She added: "The thing that's even crazier is that usually when they do that stuff, I had to see the photograph before they went out anywhere, and I never saw a new version of it."
An identical ad ran in The Hollywood Reporter and several other publications, though Hewitt's breasts were not reduced. An insider tells E! News that "some magazines and websites wanted something a little tamer, so Lifetime changed them a little bit. Things like this happen all the time."
The Client List -- which premiered Sunday to 2.8 million viewers -- was the most watched Lifetime series debut since Drop Dead Diva kicked off in 2009. "This show is like my baby," Hewitt told Us Weekly at the premiere April 4. "It's a fun story to tell."
Do you think the ad breast reduction was necessary?
