FIRST LISTEN - Kix Brooks Featuring Joe Walsh "New To This Town"

Kix Brooks will release his new solo single, "New to This Town," on March 19. The track features Joe Walsh, and is Kix's first solo release after spending 20 years as one-half of Brooks & Dunn.

"It's a freedom of sorts," Kix says of making music as a solo artist again. While he had a blast being a part of the most awarded duo in country music history, Kix says it's "sort of like being at a theme park and looking around after riding the same roller coaster you finally say, ‘Ok I think I’ll try that one over there!’ "

As for his new single, "New to This Town," Kix says, “It paints the powerful emotion we’ve all known, of lost love and the uncomfortable situation of running in to that person again.”
