"it means I have a strict rule that I don't have my phone on me when I drink!" the singer, 22, tells British newspaper The Sun.

Though her BFFs include Selena Gomez and Emma Stone, Swift prefers not to focus on her pals' A-list statuses. "I have friends from all fields -- people who are in school, actresses and singers," the country music star says.

"It's surprising how we don't talk shop," she insists of quality time with Gomez and Stone. "You'd think we'd get together and discuss the stresses of fame but we actually just talk about boys like all the other girls. We don't run through each other's scripts or compare set lists."

I think even regular folks like you and me should have a strit rule of not having access to our phones when drinking.  Good rule for everyone.
