Made this for dinner for the family last night. SO GOOD!
Ham and Bacon Quiche
Makes 2
Ingredient list:
2 Pillsbury deep dish pie crusts - Cook 5 minutes
2 tbsp butter
1 red onion
1 package bacon
1/2 lb sliced ham
1/2 lb grated swiss cheese
2 cups cream
4 eggs
2 tsp dry mustard
pinch of salt
pinch of nutmeg
Cook pie crusts in the oven at 375 degrees for 5 minutes
Saute onions in butter
Fry and crumble bacon
Evenly distribute 1/2 of the onions and 1/2 of the bacon on the bottom of each pie crust
Layer 1/2 of the ham and 1/2 of the swiss cheese on top of the onion and bacon mixture in each crust, with the swiss cheese on top.
In a large bowl, combine the cream, eggs, dry mustard, & salt
Pour 1/2 of the cream mixture into each pie crust on top of the other ingredients.
Sprinkle nutmeg on top of each mixture
cook at 375 degrees for 30-45 minutes until a knife comes out clean
