You may have heard Miranda Lambert opened a new store, The Pink Pistol, in Tishomingo, OK in November of 2012. Well she can often be seen stocking merchandise or working the soda fountain when she's not touring and lots of fans have come through asking for a photograph. As you can imagine, it got to the point where Miranda could hardly work at the store without posing with fans every five minutes.
Miranda came up with a solution that worked for her, fans AND her Mutt Nation Foundation charity. She is now charging fans $100 for every photo taken with her while she's working at the store with all the money going to her pet charity which has seen $2,500 so far coming in from the photos.
Miranda tells Country Weekly, "I don’t ever want the perception of people thinking I’m charging money for my photo. It’s definitely not for me -- it’s all for the animals."
I think this is a FANTASTIC idea and would totally hand over the money for such a great cause. Would you?
