Edens Edge is down a member. Fan were recently shocked to learn that founding member and lead singer Hannah Blaylock has left the group leaving remaining members Cherrill Green and Dean Berne.
Hannah took to Twitter with the following statement:
Hey y'all. Dreams and visions change and that's life and that's ok. And even though change is hard sometimes it's what can promote the best kind of growth. I am here to say, I have stepped down as a member of Edens Edge. I don't know the future, but I do know singing is my life and country music is my soul and its fans are the best fans there is. I'm the luckiest girl in the world and so privileged to known and have met all of you. You have brought a love and light into my life that I never knew before. I am so thankful and so grateful for all the blessings and opportunities I have been given. I can't say that enough. I wish Dean and Cherrill the most success, happiness and fulfillment in the world. The times we have shared together I hold dear to my heart. Let's keep on chasing our dreams and loving people along the way. Hope to see you on the road.
While no announcement has been made about the future of Edens Edge or Hannah, Dean also mentioned on the website, "We're literally living on the 'edge' right now, as we regroup, write, and the next chapter of our band is revealed. It's a crazy but exciting time, and we hope everyone will join us on the journey."
All three members of Edens Edge hail from Arkansas, where they met and formed the group. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2012 and produced the hit single "Amen." Their latest single was "Too Good To Be True."
