So we all know the scenario, 4th and inches.  Franklin, your rookie running back comes in and lights it up.  Shows the Packers, I should be considered when talking about the Running Backs on this team.  So you are riding him after Starks gets hurt.  He's the best thing since sliced bread and then it happens.  Coach calls in the play, blah blah, 24 dive, slant to the right on the QB's signal.  I am sure that's not the call but you get my point.  To which, Rodgers calls the play in the huddle and if I know sports at all.  Rodgers looks at Franklin and says, we need this kid, make it happen, to which, Franklin says, I got this Aaron.

Aaron should have kept his O-line in the huddle and said this.  Listen you over-grown men, block like your lives depend on it and make a push to get this kid to the marker for the first down.  But obviously he didn't.  Because there is a picture in the Green Bay Press Gazette, front side of the Sports section that shows Franklin had more Bengals around him than anyone had all day, including Rodgers.  I can't post that picture because of stupid copyright laws, so please go check it out.

Where and what was he suppose to do?  Everyone is focusing on the fumble.  The kid is going to be a good player this year and once Lacy gets healthy, I believe that they can be one of the best backfields we have seen in Green Bay since, Levens and Bennett.

And on a side note, if by chance Coach McCarthy sees this.  Coach, please don't put Cobb in the punt return position.  I am begging you not to.  Josh Cribbs is available and was pretty good at it in Cleveland.  Cobb is turning into a great WR and Franklin is going to be a really good RB.  Please you have one spot open on your roster.  Or bring up one of the WR's from the practice squad.  Love what you do with the team, however, don't be afraid to change it up and please tell Dom, that it's okay to switch it up and tighten up the middle of the defense.  You can't rely on one person to get pressure on the QB.  Again I love you as a coach but lets sometimes look outside the box.
