The Enemy Perspective.

by Ryan Fantozzi

For those of you who do not know (which is probably most of you), I am an Ohio State Buckeye fan. Since leaving Ohio several years ago as a 19-year-old I have been finding out more and more how despised we are in many other places around the country.  Now that we have cleared the air, here is my take for the most anticipated Big Ten match-up in this young college football season. Here are a few things Wisconsin needs to do to pull off the upset at The Shoe tonight.

1. Outside runs- Melvin Gordon is one of the fastest players in the Big Ten. Ohio State has traditionally been very stout against runs up the gut. Wisconsin needs to get Gordon on some jet sweeps early to open other things up for the Badger offense.

2. Pressure- As a Buckeye fan I have a bit of concern tonight for Braxton Miller's return. The Heisman hopeful has missed basically the last three games with a sprained MCL. If he is rusty tonight, the Badgers need to take advantage of it early with some blitzes and hits on the quarterback.

3. Take some shots down the field-  OSU boasts two senior safeties in Christian Bryant and C.J. Barnett and one of the top corners in the country in Bradley Roby. Doran Grant, while a pretty good player is the weakest point of this secondary. If Grant lines up any point in the night on Jared Abbrederis, the Badgers need to take some shots deep.

If the Badgers are able to accomplish these things tonight then I can see them pulling off the upset over my home state team, but in my eyes I don't see that happening. Buckeyes stay undefeated in their Big Ten opener 34-23. O-H-I-O! Here is
