Shields agrees to 4 year deal worth 39 million. Raji next?

So over the weekend Ted Thompson proved the haters wrong and showed that he actually is ready to spend some money by inking Sam Shields to a 4 year, 39 million dollar deal. Which should come as no surprise to Strange Brew readers (elevens served) who read the blog after the Packers decided against franchise tagging anyone. If you did you would have found this little gem sandwiched inbetween what can only be described as the ramblings of a man with early on-set dementia:

That being said, I think there's still a decent shot that Shields ends up coming back on a 3 or 4 year deal. I wouldn't put him in the top-tier shutdown corner category but he was clearly the best our secondary had to offer last year and and his age chances are he'll get better.
