Me and this pug have a LOT in common when it comes to watching Homeward Bound

I feel this little bro so much it's not funny. Homeward Bound must have come out when I was like 8 or 9 and it was one of the first time my parents dropped me and a friend off at the movie theater without an adult. Gave us like $20 a piece which when you're 8 years old makes you feel like Ted Dibiase. We blew it all on Junior Mints (who's gonna turn down a Junior Mint), popcorn and Milk Duds. Hell I'll never forget my buddy Jaymon lost a tooth in a Milk Dud in the theater. Hilarious*. But anyway this was the movie we saw that day. And to say I was on the edge of my seat when Shadow didn't walk over the hill immediately was an understatement. One of the most tense moments of my life. And if Shadow never would have made it, it would have been up there with Mufasa dying, Artax getting stuck in quicksand, Rufio getting stabbed by Hook and Simultaneous Possession as one of the saddest moments of my life. So I know exactly where this pug is coming from. Shadow! Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee!

*3 hours without adult supervision, unlimited financial resources (for an 8 year old), sugar, salt and blood from a lost tooth. All in all pretty much the greatest day I had in 1993.
