TERRE HAUTE (WIBQ) - This past April, Union Hospital CEO David Doerr announced his plans of retirement effective June 1st, 2011. On Thursday, Union Hospital announced that Doerr had agreed to resign his post effective September 1st.
Union Hospital's chief operating officer, Scott Teffeteller will be named interim CEO at that time, while the hospital's executive board searches for a replacement.Doerr has been with Union Hospital for 23 years, and was named an interim CEO in 1999, earning the full promotion to President and CEO in 2000.
