MANITOWOC, Wis. (WTAQ) - A Manitowoc woman has been charged with Medicaid assistance fraud.
37-year-old Sarah Becker allegedly received over $15,000 for hours she falsely claimed to work as a private duty nurse.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Justice’s criminal complaint, Becker was employed by Nurses in Independent Practice as a private duty nurse.
Becker submitted timesheets indicating that between July 26, 2008 and May 13, 2010, she had provided medical services to the clients she was assigned to care for during the same hours that timesheets showed her working at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center Hospital.
Dalton was paid $15,527.75 for those hours she claimed to have worked as a private duty nurse.
She's scheduled to appear in Sheboygan County court on January 10th.
