GREEN BAY, Wis. (WTAQ) - Green Bay police are seeking felony charges against a teen who allegedly caused a fatal crash. The 3-vehicle wreck left 40-year-old Anthony John with life-threatening injuries Wednesday night at the intersection of West Mason Street and Military Avenue. John later died from those injuries.
Police are now seeking a homicide charge against 19-year-old Andrew Gleason of Krakow. Officials say Gleason slammed into John's car, pushing it into a third vehicle. Gleason then allegedly took off on foot, but was caught and arrested by an off-duty officer. Authorities are seeking 8 charges altogether, including homicide by negligent use of a vehicle, hit and run causing death and operating a vehicle without the owner's consent.
