KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO) -- A savage beating in the parking lot of Wayside West in Kalamazoo has left one man in critical condition at Bronson hospital, a second nursing less serious injuries and half a dozen suspects on the run.
There was apparently some sort of exchange of words in the parking lot between two groups, the larger group of 5 or 6 black males assaulted the two other bar patrons, around 2AM, after the bar closed Thursday morning.
One of the victims was knocked to the ground; the second was punched and kicked multiple times. The attackers then fled east on Stadium in a tan or brown SUV. Detectives are asking for any help they can get or you can always use silent observer.
