BREAKING: Wisconsin Assembly Passes Budget Without Debate 55-42

MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - In an unusual move, the Wisconsin Assembly passed the proposed two-year state budget without much of a debate. The abrupt vote was 55-42. National Guard Unit Gets Sendoff at Plymouth High School Saturday morning

PLYMOUTH, WI (WHBL) - A Plymouth-based National Guard Unit  got a send off by Governor Scott Walker, National Guard leaders, family and friends during a ceremony at the Plymouth High School Saturday morning at 10 a.m. The 80 members of the Battery B, 1st Battalion, 121st Field Artillery will be heading to Fort Bliss, Texas, for several weeks of training before being deployed to Afghanistan to conduct fire support missions. The last time the full unit was deployed was in April of 2006 with some members deployed to Iraq in 2009-2010.
