Shania Twain raised $45,000 for her Shania Kids Can charity last weekend with a meet-and-greet and auction following her opening show at Caesars Palace. According to the Las Vegas Sun , several of Shania's fans collectively ponied up $20,000 for the charity to meet her after the show, and then another $25,000 was raised through the auction that night.
Shania founded Shania Kids Can to help impoverished children since she herself struggled with hunger and poverty growing up in Canada. The money raised at opening night of Shania's show is expected to go to children in the Las Vegas area. For more information, visit ShaniaKidsCan.com .
