SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - A Sheboygan Falls woman accused of embezzling over $180,000 from the Midwest Credit Union in Sheboygan was bound over in Sheboygan County Court and will stand trial. 33 year old Sarah Gora made her preliminary appearance Wednesday morning in front of judge L. Edward Stengel and pleaded not guilty to the embezzlement charges. According to the criminal complaint released earlier this month, employees noticed Gora making large purchases and taking increasing control of accounting records. An audit uncovered the discrepancies. Gora was fired in March and Sheboygan Police had been investigating since last November. Judge L. Edward Stengel ruled there was enough evidence to order a jury trial. Gora is free on a $1,000 cash bond.
