George Strait has announced plans to launch his final The Cowboy Rides Away tour in January. Once the trek stops in 2014, George will have a lot more time to spend fishing on the lake back home in Texas.

Fishing is one of Strait's passions.  He tells People Country , "You can go hours without anything happening, and all of a sudden a big blue marlin comes into the spread, and it's cockpit chaos."

George has caught a 600-pound blue marlin, but he's got his sights set on even bigger game.  "My dream is to catch a grander, a 1,000 pounder," George says.

On the music front, George's new single, "Give It All We Got Tonight," hit the airwaves earlier this week.
