SHEBOYGAN FALLS, Wis. (WHBL) - Two 19 year old Milwaukee men suffered gunshot wounds to their legs during an early morning altercation Monday at an apartment complex in Sheboygan Falls. Police Chief Steve Riffel says they received a call just after 6 am of shots being fired at the complex on Rangeline Road, where a 27 year old Chicago man had opened fire on the two men. Riffel says the two men had accompanied a 21 year old Sheboygan Falls woman to the apartment to pick up her belongings, as she’d recently moved out following previous domestic disturbances with the 27 year old man. The four got into a fight, and the 27 year old opened fire. The shooter suffered facial injuries, was apprehended, and is being held in the county jail, facing charges. One of the 19 year old shooting victims was treated and is currently in the county jail, and the other is still receiving medical treatment. The handgun has been recovered, and the investigation is ongoing. Police will seek charges of domestic abuse, felony strangulation, battery, and disorderly conduct for an incident last Tuesday, and charges of 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety and endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon for Monday’s shooting.
