SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - A Sheboygan woman will stand trial for the death of her infant daughter 55 years ago.  Attorney Kirk O’ Bear said Tuesday morning that a plea deal that had been offered to Klokow recently had been rejected, and they would need a trial date set.  76 year old Ruby Klokow was in Sheboygan County Court last month and was found competent to stand trial following a mental competency evaluation in September.  Klokow was charged last year after her son told police he felt the child had died from child abuse.  Klokow was charged with 2^nd degree murder, and told investigators that she threw the child onto the couch, but she hit the wall instead.  Klokow is free on bail, and a week long jury trial has been set for the week of February 18th.
