SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - Sheboygan County will have a new County Clerk for the first time in 17 years. Republican Jon Dolson received 53 percent of the vote in Tuesday's election as he defeated Democrat Dave Wehrwein in a race that was close all night. Wehrwein has worked in the County Clerk’s office for 14 years and had been endorsed by outgoing Julie Glancey. In the other contested county race, incumbent Register of Deeds Ellen Schleicher defeated Kris Wheeler 52 to 48 percent. The other county offices, DA and Treasurer, had incumbents running unopposed.
