Endsley, Kestell Re-Elected

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - State Representative Mike Endsley of Sheboygan has been re-elected to his second term in the State Assembly.  Endsley defeated his challenger - former Sheriff Mike Helmke - in a tight race in Tuesday's election.  Endsley polled 15,224 votes to Helmke’s 14,699 to win the race 50 to 49 percent.  Endsley says he will continue to work to keep the state fiscally sound and create jobs as he embarks on the next two years.    In the 27th Assembly District, incumbent Steve Kestell defeated challenger Steven Bauer to win re-election.  The Elkhart Lake Republican is returned to Madison for his 8th term in office. And in the 20th Senate District, Republican incumbent Glen Grothmann of West Bend won an easy victory over teacher Tanya Lohr.
