Bucks Pour It On In Win Over Pacers

MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) - The Milwaukee Bucks led by as many as 32 points Wednesday night before beating Indiana 99-85.  Point guard Brandon Jennings said the Bucks followed the advice of coach Scott Skiles, who told them the Pacers would shut down if the Bucks got to them early. And they did, jumping out to an early 27-9 lead. The Bucks led by 26 at the half, and by 29 after three periods before all five Milwaukee starters sat out for the entire final quarter. The Bucks out-shot Indiana 42 to 37 percent. The Pacers had the edge on the boards 53-45, but Milwaukee only committed 6 turnovers to 20 for Indiana. Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis each scored 16 for the Bucks, who’ve won two straight and improved to 2-2 at home.  Bucks’ center Samuel Dalembert had 14 points, six rebounds, and three blocked shots in 18 minutes. Tyler Hansbrough had 17 points for Indiana, which is now 0-5 on the road. The Bucks improved to 5-2 overall, and will play New Orleans on Saturday night at the B-M-O Harris Bradley Center.
