MEDFORD, Wis (WSAU) Wisconsin's official state Christmas tree will come from a farm in Taylor County. The 37-foot balsam fir was cut yesterday from Meyer's Castle Tree Farm in Medford. It's now being delivered to Madison, where it will be decorated with ornaments made by children from around the state.
Meyer's Castle has grown some prize trees before. They provided the official White House Christmas tree in 1998.
