Bucks Pull off Miraculous Comeback Over Bulls

CHICAGO, IL (WHBL) - The Milwaukee Bucks came back from 27 points down last night to beat the Bulls in Chicago 93-92.  Coach Scott Skiles benched his starters in the third quarter, after they gave up a flurry of three-pointers. And the Milwaukee back-ups went on a 31-4 run which ended a three-game losing streak overall, and nine straight losses to Chicago.  Rip Hamilton missed a 10-foot shot at the buzzer that would have won the game for the Bulls. He led all scorers with 30. Ersan Ilyasova led the comeback, as he scored all but four of his 18 points in the second half. He also had six rebounds. The Bucks out-scored the Bulls 30 to 12 in the fourth quarter, when they played the same five reserves for the entire period. The Bucks only shot 35-percent until the final 15 minutes, when they shot close to 68-percent. Milwaukee won its first game over Chicago since April sixth of 2010. And the Bucks hung onto their lead in the N-B-A’s Central Division. They now lead the second-place Bulls by a game-and-a-half. Milwaukee’s next game is tomorrow night, when it hosts the New York Knicks.
