Being on the road for weeks at a time can get pretty boring for an artist, but David Nail has found a way to spice up his traveling experience thanks to social media. Once he hits a city, David will go online to find a few cool attractions or restaurants he might like to visit and then run them by his Twitter followers to find out the can't-miss spots.
"Over the course of a day, you get a feel for where you're playing," David tells TheBoot.com of his explorations, "so when you get out on stage, you already feel like you've had a bit of a bonding experience with them."
David is thankful for the opportunity to travel and discover new cities on a regular basis. He has a run of shows with Alan Jackson in Florida starting this weekend.
