SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - Even a thief can have a heart. A person in Sheboygan who stole an I-Pad from a child with autism has returned it. Travis Wick wrote a letter to the Sheboygan Press after his son’s I-Pad was taken from his car. Wick said it was not just any I-Pad – and his four-year-old son Jaden needed it for a host of daily living activities. After the letter was published, a local bank received a number of donations from those wanting to buy a new I-Pad for the youngster. Yesterday, Wick found the I-Pad when he checked his mail. He says he’ll contact the donors, and see what they want to do with their gifts. Wick says there are many other families with autistic children who could benefit from the money.
