SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) -Following a special meeting called Monday afternoon, Randy Hopper has been placed on unpaid administrative leave by the Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation. Hopper was arrested after a report of a fight at his ex-wife’s home Sunday night. Gary Dulmes, board president, issued a statement stating that Hopper has been placed on leave, and stating that they're all very disappointed that the situation has happened. Hopper was hired in June as the executive director after serving as a State Senator until this summer’s recall election. He was also found not guilty by a jury of an earlier drunk driving charge, and had gone through a messy divorce.
