SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - A 61 year old man from Freedom died after being pulled from Lake Michigan - unresponsive - Sunday afternoon.  The Sheboygan Police Department says they received a call around 2:30 Sunday of a man in distress off North Beach.  When officers arrived, bystanders were performing CPR on the man, who went into the water to help his 9 year old grandson, who was swimming too far from shore.  The boy was taken to shore with the help of bystanders, and the man was located by a surfer and brought to shore.  The man was taken to St. Nicholas Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  Authorities have not released his name.
