SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - The Sheboygan Tavern Safety Coalition is out with a code of conduct for people who enjoy the tavern scene. The Coalition, which includes the tavern community, law enforcement and several volunteer groups, was established about six months ago to make Sheboygan taverns and surrounding neighborhoods safer. The group has put together a Code of Conduct stating that people in taverns should refrain from over intoxication, creating problems outside, fighting, sexual harassment, vulgar language and more. The TSC says chronic violations of the code could result in being banned from all TSC taverns. As a matter of fact, so far 19 people have been banned from taverns for varying lengths of time. So far, 46 taverns have joined the coalition and the TSC is now hoping to expand its membership to all establishments licensed to sell alcoholic beverages.
