SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man has been charged with felony burglary for entering a church and making off with alcohol. 20 year old Bradley Petrick was charged Tuesday after authorities were called to St. Dominick’s church Monday after the pastor confronted Petrick in the parish living room. According to the criminal complaint, the pastor had been sleeping in the 2nd floor of the parish when he heard noises coming from downstairs. He went down and confronted Petrick, who admitted he was looking for money, and offered to help clean up the mess. The pastor asked Petrick to leave, then contacted authorities. Authorities found alcohol missing from the property, and also found a sledgehammer and screwdriver Petrick had used to break in. Petrick had recently been arrested for a break in to St. Peter’s church and admitted to authorities he’d broken into the church. If convicted on all of the felony charges, he’s facing up to 26 years in prison.
