SHEBOYGAN FALLS, WI (WHBL) - Sheboygan Falls Mayor Randy Meyer remains hospitalized after being injured Sunday night in an intersection collision west of Sheboygan, which claimed two lives. Falls Police Chief Steve Riffel, during a news briefing Monday, said Meyer was recovering in St. Nicholas Hospital, where he was in lots of pain with rib and other injuries. Riffel said Meyer expressed sympathy for the family of the victims and was touched by the number of people who had expressed concern for him and his wife, Tammy, who was also injured in the crash and has since been released from the hospital. The accident occurred about 7 o’clock on Sunday night when a car driven by 61 year old Lew Handley of Plymouth pulled out in front of the Meyer car and the two collided. Handley and his passenger, 81 year old Suzanne Jackson, also of Plymouth, were dead at the scene.
