MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) - The Milwaukee Brewers won their third straight game – and their first series of the year – with a 4-3 victory over San Francisco Wednesday night at Miller Park. Yuniesky Betancourt was intentionally walked before Lalli had his game-winning hit over Gregor Blanco’s head in left. Santiago Casilla pitched the ninth for the Giants and took the loss. Jim Henderson threw a scoreless ninth to get the win for the Crew. He’s 2-0. Brewers’ starter Kyle Lohse retired his first 14 batters, and took a no-hitter into the sixth before Brandon Crawford singled. He went seven innings, giving up three runs on six hits with a walk. Betancourt drove in two runs with a sacrifice fly and his second homer in two games. Hunter Pence led San Francisco’s offense with a two-run single, giving him 10 R-B-I’s on the young season. The Giants had won six of seven before losing two straight to Milwaukee. The Brewers are at 5-8 after dropping 8 of their first 10. The Crew will go for a sweep this afternoon in a 12:10 start.
