SHEBOYGAN, WI (WTAQ) - The Wisconsin Supreme Court has revoked the law license of a Sheboygan attorney convicted of having sex with a girl who was 15 at the time.
Court officials said Joseph Engl had an e-mail exchange with the girl, and later picked up and had sexual contact.
The incident occurred in November of 2011.
Engl was sentenced to three years in prison, after he pleaded no contest to Manitowoc County charges of child sexual assault and child enticement.
In 2004, Engl was convicted of trying to meet a 14-year-old girl for sex – only to learn that the girl was an undercover officer. He was put on probation and reprimanded at that time.
The Supreme Court issued its revocation order and Engl agreed the revocation was appropriate.
