Brewers 7, Reds 6

by

MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) -  Jonathon Lucroy hit a two-run walk-off home run Friday night to give the Brewers a 7-6 win over the Cincinnati Reds at Miller Park, snapping the Reds' 5-game winning streak. The Reds had taken a 6-5 lead in the seventh inning on an RBI single by Todd Frazier -  his 4th RBI of the game.  Reds' closer Aroldis Chapman, who has had much success against the Brewers the past few seasons, entered the game.  Jean Segura was able to get on base when Reds first baseman Joey Votto was unable to hang onto the throw from shortstop Zach Cozart.  That set the stage for Lucroy's heroics, as he belted his 17th home run of the season to win it for the Crew.  Lucroy on the night went 3 for 5 with three runs batted in and two runs scored.  Juan Francisco also homered for the Brewers, hitting a solo shot in the second inning.  John Axford got the win for the Brewers.  Game three of the series takes place tonight.  Yovani Gallardo will get the start for Milwaukee - his first in nearly two weeks after straining his hamstring.
