GREEN BAY, WI (WHBL) - The Green Bay Packers reached their mid-week NFL roster limit of 75 players by putting four players on injured reserve and four others on the physically-unable-to-perform list. Running back DuJuan Harris was the most notable. He was put on injured reserve with a patellar tendon knee injury. Harris is out for the year after he aggravated a previous injury in Friday night’s exhibition loss to Seattle. Coach Mike McCarthy says Harris will have knee surgery. That makes rookie Eddie Lacy the Packers’ starting running back going into their exhibition finale Thursday night at Kansas City. Tackle Bryan Bulaga was also placed on the I-R with his torn knee ligament – along with receiver Kevin Dorsey with a toe injury and linebacker Jarvis Reed with a bad ankle. Tackle Derek Sherrod went on the “PUP” list along with offensive lineman J-C Tretter, defensive end Jerel Worthy, and safety Sean Richardson. They can return after Week-6, and the Packers will then have five weeks to decide whether to bring them back.
