SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, WI (WHBL) - Area residents will get their 2014 tax bill later this month. Sheboygan County Treasurer Laura Henning-Lorenz said they will be mailed on the 16th. Anyone who does not get theirs by the 23rd should contact her office.
For the county’s three largest municipalities, taxe rates will increase from last year. Sheboygan’s is up 15 cents to $23.92 per thousand assessed value. Plymouth’s is up 38 cents to $21.50, while Sheboygan Falls’ is up 36 cents to $20.77.
School taxes take up the biggest portion of each bill, followed by their respective city, the county, LTC, and the state. All bills include a tax credit based on the school district you live in, while there are additional ones for lottery/gaming and first dollar based on your primary residence location and properties with improvements.
