MADISON, WI (WHBL) - The Wisconsin men’s basketball team is off to a 10-0 start on the season, beating in-state rival Marquette 70-64 on Saturday. Sophomore Sam Dekker scored 20 points and pulled down 10 rebounds in the win. With the victory, the eight-ranked Badgers are off to their best start in 20 years - and snaps a two-game losing streak to the Golden Eagles. Marquette was without Todd Mayo. He was benched by head coach Buzz Williams for an undisclosed team violation. The Badgers are back in action on Wednesday for another in-state game with Milwaukee.
