MADISON, WI (WHBL) - Sophomore forward Sam Dekker, a Sheboygan native, secured his third career double-double in Wisconsin’s 80-43 rout over Prairie View A&M Saturday afternoon. Dekker scored 16 points and pulled down 11 rebounds in the win. The Badgers held the Panthers to just 18 points in the first half, and 32-percent shooting for the game. Wisconsin had a huge edge in free throw shooting, going to the line 28 times compared to just 4 trips for Prairie View A&M. The victory by the Badgers kept them undefeated, as they finished with a perfecdt 13-0 nonconference record - their best start in the history of the program. The fourth-ranked Badgers open Big Ten play on Thursday against Northwestern.
