Not many figured on Marquette being a factor in the Big East conference this year after losing last year's conference player of the year in Jae Crowder along with Darius Johnson-Odom, but with five games left in the conference season, check out the standings. A 67-46 blitz of Seton Hall in New Jersey Tuesday night has Marquette alone at the top of the Big East at 10-3, a half game in front of Syracuse and Georgetown. The Golden Eagles poured it on after intermission when the game was tied at the half. A 25-1 run put it away. Vander Blue led with 19 points while Devonte Gardner added 18. 17th ranked Marquette improves to 19-6 overall and they'll meet Villanova in Philadelphia on Saturday.
