The Milwaukee Bucks did made a deal on the NBA trading deadline day Thursday, but it wasn't for Atlanta forward Josh Smith as had been rumored. Instead, General Manager John Hammond shipped his 2012 draft class and veteran guard Beno Udrih to the Orlanda Magic for veteran shooting guard J.J. Redick and two backups. Redick, the former Duke Blue Devil All American, is averaging a career best 15.1 points per game for the Magic this season. Also coming to the Bucks is backup guard Ish Smith and forward Gustavo Ayon. Milwaukee sent Orlando draft picks Tobias Harris and Doron Lamb along with Udrih. The newcomers are expected in uniform when the Bucks host the Atlanta Hawks Saturday night.
