ELKHART LAKE, WI (WHBL) - While the Fourth of July has passed, one Sheboygan County community will have its annual events for the holiday starting today and continue through the weekend. The Elkhart Lake Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting their array of activities as they do every year as a fundraiser for their department.
It all begins today with a picnic at Fireman’s Park, which will also include live music. The community’s fireworks show is also scheduled for this evening along the lakefront.
Saturday will feature a farmers and artisans market during the morning hours at the railroad depot, along with another picnic and live music at Fireman’s park.
On Sunday a parade will work its way through the village starting at 11:30 a.m. The UW Marching Band will make an appearance during the parade and will perform a ‘Fifth Quarter’ performance at Fireman’s Park afterwards.
