TALKING STICK, AZ (WHBL) - Eight Milwaukee Brewers pitchers took the mound for one inning each in Friday’s 5-2 loss to the Colorado Rockies. Tom Gorzelanny started and went a scoreless inning, but John Axford and Michael Gonzalez gave up three runs and the Brewers never caught up again. First-round pick Jed Bradley caught manager Ron Roenicke’s eye with his scoreless inning. The hard-throwing lefty was one of the team’s two first-round picks in 2011. Jean Segura pounded a triple and single, while Logan Schafer and Robinson Diaz each had an RBI.
The Brewers take on the Angels Saturday afternoon. Coverage of the game on WHBL begins at 1:55.
