STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) - If you’re one of the hunters or outdoors enthusiasts interested in Saturday’s Deer Trustee Report meeting, but can’t drive to Stevens Point, you can now plan to watch in on the Internet.
Department of Natural Resources officials hope for a good turnout to get input from the public as implementation of the report’s recommendations begins. They’ve also teamed up with UW-Stevens Point to send the program online.
The Deer Trustee Report meeting is Saturday, March 9th at the Dreyfus University Center’s Alumni Room from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Ed Lobner is the DNR’s Implementation Coordinator. He says, “Participation of the public, tribes, stakeholders and other partners is essential for creating plans that will transform the recommendations of the report into action on the ground,”
If you cannot attend in person, the live Webcast of the meeting will be viewable at: http://dnrmedia.wi.gov/main/Viewer/?peid=086ffe649e65430890745813ba372a861d
